SoMAD hosts valentine screening

Sunday, Feb. 12 | 2 p.m. | Glasrud Auditorium The Red River Chapter of the American Theatre Organ Society (RRATOS) is partnering with the Minnesota State University Moorhead School of Media Arts and Design to produce “My Funny Valentine”—a free, family-friendly screening of three “two-reeler” romantic-comedy short silent films starring the famed comedians Charlie Chaplin, Harold Lloyd, and Buster Keaton.

Planetarium hosts 400+ at Stars of PBS event

On Saturday, Feb. 4 the MSUM Planetarium partnered with Prairie Public and sponsored by Moore Engineering to bring the 3rd Annual Stars of PBS to campus. The event featured the planetarium show, “One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure,” showing every 45 minutes throughout the day and activities ranging from playing with light and shadows, creating mini-planetariums, boom whackers, dippin dots, trips to the moon, and others.
