Kenyon Williams to perform as soloist with FM Symphony this Weekend

Dr. Kenyon Williams, Professor of Percussion at MSUM, will perform this weekend with the Fargo-Moorhead Symphony Orchestra as an accompanying soloist for the composition “Cyberbird” by Yoshimatsu featuring saxophone soloist Russell Peterson. The concerts will take place at NDSU’s Festival Hall on Saturday at 7:30pm and Sunday at 2:00pm with tickets available through www.fmsymphony.org or at the door.

Oscar Flores and Tonya Jo Hansen, Economics, had a paper accepted for publication in the journal Regional and Sectoral Economic Studies. The paper “The Impact of Local Conditions on the Retention of College Freshman Across Regional, Public Universities in the United States” studies factors that may explain differences in retention rates across public, regional universities across the country.
