Brian Smith, Richard Lahti and Steve Lindaas attended conference

Brian Smith (School of Teaching) and Learning, Richard Lahti (Chemistry) and Steve Lindaas (Physics and Astronomy) attended the 2015 Midwest Regional Robert Noyce Connections conference October 29-30 and presented the poster “Development of Learning Assistant Program at MSUM”. The theme for the conference was “Integrating STEM: Grounding STEM Learning for All” and included informative plenary talks and useful breakout sessions. This conference provides a way to network with other grant recipients to help successfully implement MSUM’s Noyce grant. MSUM’s grant, of nearly $1.2 million, will support scholarships for students simultaneously pursuing a STEM teaching licenses and a STEM major. http://scimath.unl.edu/noyce/conferences/2015/
