Physics and Astronomy Department senior Boston Heaford has been accepted into the materials and nanotechnology engineering PhD program at NDSU, under Dr. Qifeng Zhang to do research on renewable energy technology. New Rivers Press design intern Kelsey Curfman won a Gold ADDY in book design for Natanya Pulley’s With Teeth at the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota awards. New Rivers Press titles are screened, edited, designed, and marketed by students in the English and Publishing degree and the English, Mass Communications, and Graphic Communications departments.
At February’s American Advertising Federation Awards ceremony, several students took home awards for their design work. Jordan Dalbey was recognized with the Student Best of Show award.
