We’ve had a challenging year. The economic downturn hit our campus and the Red River almost overwhelmed our community. In response, we made decisions about our finances that will guide us in the coming year and we worked together to protect our neighbors. It wasn’t easy, but it was much tougher for many families in our community. Local shelters and food pantries are dealing with a sharp increase in need. 366 individuals received their seasonal influenza vaccination at MSUM’s Employee Seasonal Flu Shot Clinic held on Wednesday, September 30th. If you were unable to attend the Flu Shot workplace clinic, vaccinations are also available from your primary care clinic. Flu shots are available with no out-of-pocket costs when you present your Minnesota Advantage Health Plan card. Click link to read more.
The Human Resources Office has received employee-discounted tickets for the 2009 Minnesota Renaissance Festival. Adult tickets are $15.50 (Reg. $19.95) and Children tickets (age 5-12) are $7.50 (Reg. $10.95). Children Age 4 & under are free. The festival runs weekends and Labor Day from August 22, 2009 to October 4, 2009. Hours are from 9:00 am to 7:00 pm. Rain or Shine. Parking is free. Click link to read more.
