“Heretics,” a full-length play by Richard Zinober, English, was given a developmental workshop by the Horse Trade Theatre Group in New York City this spring. An individual artist grant from the Lake Region Arts Council in Fergus Falls and an MSUM faculty grant helped fund the project. Zinober teaches playwriting and screenwriting at MSUM.
The Minnesota State University Moorhead Alumni Foundation received a $5,000 grant from Xcel Energy. The grant totaling $5,000 will fund student scholarships. Linda Fuselier, Biosciences and Women’s Studies, Claudia Murphy, Women’s Studies, Linda Winkler and Steven Lindaas, both Physics, and Steven Bolduc, Economics, received a Chancellor’s Office Faculty Development Grant. This multidisciplinary team will form a curriculum development group and design materials for contextualized STEM pedagogy in Bioscience and Physics courses.
