A two-year $262,000 grant was recently awarded from the National Science Foundation’s Robert Noyce Teacher Scholarship Program to co-PIs Tim Harms (Mathematics) and Alison Wallace (Biosciences). “Heretics,” a full-length play by Richard Zinober, English, was given a developmental workshop by the Horse Trade Theatre Group in New York City this spring. An individual artist grant from the Lake Region Arts Council in Fergus Falls and an MSUM faculty grant helped fund the project. Zinober teaches playwriting and screenwriting at MSUM.
The Minnesota State University Moorhead Alumni Foundation received a $5,000 grant from Xcel Energy. The grant totaling $5,000 will fund student scholarships. Xcel Energy invests in its local communities with grants, charitable contributions and volunteer time.
