Theatre Arts alums Matthew Pitner, Joe Rapp, Tyler Michaels and Lucas Vonasek, four of the members of Bearded Men Improv, are coming home to MSUM as part of a national tour. The comedy troupe got its start in Fargo-Moorhead when the four were students, and has been a staple on Friday nights for almost three years at Minneapolis’ HUGE Theater.

This past week 26 MSUM theatre arts students and faculty attended the Region V Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival (KCACTF) in Lincoln, Neb. Minnesota State University Moorhead students Sara Fritz and Michael Anderson have been selected as the 2014 Go Pink with the Dragons Scholarship recipients. Fritz and Anderson both received a $1,000 scholarship for the spring semester at MSU Moorhead.
