Dr. Raychl Smith, Music, presented ethnographic research on cultivating creativity and community through improvisation in an undergraduate music course for elementary education majors. Her research presentation was given at the New Directions in Music Education Conference held on the campus of Michigan State University.
The MSUM commercial ensemble, The Collaborations, will perform Tuesday, April 1 at 7:30 p.m. in Hansen Theater. The concert will open with student a cappella student group, CutXTime. Dr. Michael J. Krajewski directs the commercial music ensemble.
