The University Writing Support Center will close for the Spring 2018 semester after Tuesday, May 1. Tutoring services will not be available from Wednesday, May 2 until the re-opening of the Center for summer sessions. Merrie Sue Holtan, Assistant Professor of Communication Studies, earned three writing awards from North Dakota Professional Communicators at the NDSU spring conference. She placed first in Sports Writing and Home Writing and also third in the Home Writing category. The first place entries will be competing in the National Federation of Presswomen competition in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania this September.
