Inforum: “Documentary shines light on barrier-breaking MSUM professor and musician”

MOORHEAD, Minn. — He was a psychologist as renowned for jazz as he was for Jung. Now, a generation who never met him is honoring his legacy.

A dozen Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM) students are premiering their newly produced documentary, “Breaking Barriers: The Legacy of Dr. James Condell.” The film showcases the profound impact Condell, a former psychology professor and talented jazz guitarist, had on students and musicians in Fargo-Moorhead.

The documentary is the product of an upper-level podcast/documentary class taught by Kevin Wallevand, a longtime adjunct instructor and  WDAY-TV reporter .
