MSUM Kicks Off School Year with Welcome Week

The university community welcomes new students into the Dragon family and all students back to campus to kick off the 2024-2025 school year. Welcome Week helps new students become acquainted with campus, meet new friends, and make smooth transitions into college life.
The Dragon Welcome Crew, including faculty, staff, students and alumni, will help new students move into the residence halls on Thursday, Aug. 22, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. President Downs continues the welcome/move-in tradition and will help students move in from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. After students move in, they will begin Welcome Week and Orientation activities.
