Student Organization of the Month Award
The Student Organization Advisory Committee is pleased to present the Gay/Straight Alliance with the November Student Organization of the Month Award.
In the wake of the national news about homophobic bullying and resulting student suicides, this year Gay/Straight Alliance has greatly increased its membership and its commitment to serving as a welcoming and supportive group for MSUM students. The GSA is creating alliances against homophobic bullying identity lines and creating a strong, supportive, and visible presence so that no GLBT MSUM student need feel afraid or alone.
