Mandatory organization treasurer meetings Sept. 15 or Sept. 20
Mandatory Organization Treasurer meetings for student treasurers/budget managers of each recognized student organization at MSUM will be held Wednesday, Sept. 15 at 5 p.m. in CMU 227 OR Monday, Sept. 20 at 5 p.m. in CMU 203.
These meetings are meant to help recognized organizations succeed financially. Topics Include: current account balances, new travel policy, reimbursing organization members for out of pocket expenses, Fiscal Year 2012 funding application, purchasing goods and services using the student organization accounts, applying for supplemental funds, how to read end of month finance reports and applying for a Fiscal Year 2012 activity operating budget.
Recognized student organizations that currently hold an activity account or student local agency account must send a treasurer or designated budget manager to one of the two meetings listed below. If neither time works for the treasurer, they should contact Sandy Schob at 477.2486 to set up an individual training time at the OSA. If the recognized organization does not have any type of account or funds at this time, they are welcome to attend to learn how to apply for supplemental funding and/or a budget for Fiscal Year 2012.
