Ann Buesgens presented at College Admission Counselors conference
Ann Buesgens, Assistant Director of Admissions/Twin Cities Based Admission Counselor, presented two workshops at the Midwest Conference for College Admission Counselors May 16-18 in Minneapolis. The audience was comprised of college admissions and secondary counselors.
The sessions were titled: 3 Institutions, 2 Days, 1 Collaborative Event and For College Representatives: Understanding Naviance and How It Can Work for You.

The past three summers, North Dakota State University, Minnesota State University Moorhead and Concordia College have come together to bring high school counselor to visit the campuses. The session reviewed how the partnership started, event details, opportunities and challenges.
For College Representatives: Understanding Naviance and How It Can Work for You
The goal of this session was to educate college admission representatives about how high school counselors and students are using Naviance to research colleges and manage the college search process. In addition to perspective from two college counselors, the session offered insight from a college representative about how colleges can use Naviance in their work with students.
