MSUM Physics & Astronomy Seminar Series: Tracking the Changes in Epistemological Beliefs in General Physics Students

The purpose of his study was to determine the change in attitudes towards the subject of physics held by undergraduate students who enroll in an introductory physics course. Participants were asked at the beginning and end of the course to complete a survey designed to probe students on their beliefs and to determine their attitudes towards physics. The results, as well as the possible meaning behind them, will be discussed at this seminar.
