Region’s top educators are Dragons
Moorhead Public Schools Teacher of the Year Angela Hase, Fargo Public Schools Teacher of the Year Amanda Hetland, and West Fargo Professional Licensed Staff of the Year Mendi Blake all began their education journey at MSUM.
“I chose MSUM because they have high standards, and I knew it is a good school, especially for education,” Amanda says.
Angela, Amanda, and Mendi were drawn to MSUM because it was founded as a teaching school. Now, Angela is a high school English teacher, Amanda is an elementary special education teacher, and Mendi is a high school special education teacher.
