MSUM’s unbeatable affordability and quality education attracts Kansas student
Freshman Megan Oyerly found her home at MSUM after initially attending for the affordability and size. Originally from Topeka, Kansas, Megan’s mind was made up when she was offered in-state tuition to attend.
“It was nice to have people be so attentive, even though I was only touring. It made me feel comfortable and that they really wanted me on campus.”
Since being involved with SMART Start, a program for first-year students transitions, Megan has become involved in multiple clubs and organizations and is able to call Moorhead her second home.
“I realized about a month into fall semester that I had a life completely outside of Kansas, and it’s crazy to me,” Megan says.
