School psychology students, faculty represent Dragons at state and national conferences

School psychology students and faculty have been representing the Dragons at various state and national level meetings and conferences.

  • Minnesota School Psychology Association (MSPA) conference – Over 15 graduate students and three faculty attended MSPA. The students volunteered and were actively engaged at the conference, and student Megan Oliver did a popular and interesting poster on setting goals with young students. Dr. Lisa Stewart also co-presented on the Infuse Mental Health Grant in collaboration with Dr. Faith Miller from the University of Minnesota.
  • National Association of School Psychology (NASP) conference – Six graduate students and three faculty members attended the NASP conference. Dr. Lisa Stewart also attended the Trainers of School Psychology post-conference and participated in a panel focused on remote training options. Kecia Peters, MSUM Infuse Mental Health Grant Field Supervisor, is also the North Dakota NASP delegate. Kecia also participated in the Regional Leadership Meeting post-conference.
