Bachmeier and Art Education students to present and participate at Art Educators of Minnesota Conference

School of Art Professor of Art Education Brad Bachmeier will accompany two selected students, Rebecca Koerner and Kate Stafford, to the annual Art Educators of MN Fall Conference, Oct. 28 in Minneapolis. They’ve been asked to facilitate a session for undergraduate students to lead and gain insights about how to recruit and retain students into teaching programs in preparation for the National Art Education Association annual conference in Minneapolis in April. The NAEA is seeking to learn how to serve undergraduate students better. Bachmeier will also present a “Humanity, Clay and Atmospheric Firing” session at the fall conference. Bachmeier currently serves on the AEM Board of Directors as the Higher Education Representative.
