Banned Books Student Reading Group: All Boys Aren’t Blue

In a time of intense political polarization, library staff in every state are facing an unprecedented number of attempts to ban books.  When we ban books, we’re closing off readers to people, places, and perspectives. But when we stand up for stories, we unleash the power that lies inside every book.

Therefore, we invite you to celebrate your freedom to read by joining our Banned Books Student Reading Group. Bring your lunch and enjoy a sweet treat as we discuss All Boys Aren’t Blue by George M. Johnson on Monday, October 2 from 12-1 p.m. in the Library Porch (LI 100). This discussion will be facilitated by Erienne Fawcett, Coordinator of Gender and Sexuality. Must RSVP on DragonCentral!
