MSUM Percussion to Present Learning Bank Children’s Shows Mon and Tues in Hansen

Monday and Tuesday, Oct. 24 and 25
MSUM’s “Fuego Tropical” World Music and Percussion Ensemble will present “Carnival Jump Up!  Musical Celebrations from Around the World” in Hansen Theatre for over 2,800 first-grade students from across the FM area, in collaboration with the FM Learning Bank Children’s Concert Series.

Through this unique community partnership, the MSUM Percussion Studio, directed by Dr. Kenyon Williams, is able to present five 40-minute interactive educational presentations each year over the course of two days in MSUM’s Hansen Theatre.

These collaborative community events, which have been in place for over a decade, will take place at 9:20 a.m., 10:35 a.m., and 1 p.m. on Monday and 9:20 a.m. and 10:35 a.m. on Tuesday.
