Hansen provides economic update at Moorhead Rotary Club meeting

Dr. T. J. Hansen, Department of Economics, Law & Politics, presented “Economic Shocks and Signals: A Winding Economic Road,” at the Moorhead Rotary Club meeting on July 26, 2022.  In this talk, she highlighted how consumer and producer behaviors have adjusted to shocks such as the COVID-19 pandemic, global supply chain disruptions, and geopolitical uncertainties.  Hansen used historical data related to inflation, unemployment, and gross domestic to display trends and inform outlook expectations.  Dr. Jean Hannig, a member of the Moorhead Rotary Club and retired Economics, Law & Politics faculty member, organized this event.
