Updated Roles in D2L Brightspace
On April 26th updates will be made to roles in D2L Brightspace to reduce confusion, ensure roles do what they intend and bring them in line with best practices. The most apparent changes include:
The teacher role will be renamed to instructor.
All teaching assistant roles will be renamed to better reflect what they can do.
Permissions will be added/removed from all roles where deemed appropriate.
