31st Annual Woodlands and High Plains Powwow – Saturday, April 2

The 31st annual Woodlands and High Plains Powwow (WHPP) will be held on Saturday, April 2, 2022, in the Memorial Auditorium on the Concordia College campus.

The powwow is sponsored by Concordia College, Minnesota State Community & Technical College (MState), Minnesota State University Moorhead (MSUM), North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS), and North Dakota State University (NDSU).

A powwow is a time to celebrate and renew friendships. In addition, this powwow celebrates the educational experiences of American Indian higher education and the sharing of tribal cultures. The powwow will feature many dance styles and drum songs from regional tribes. The community will enjoy the overall cultural experience, including the many vendors that will display and sell their wares.

Grand Entries will be held at 1:00 pm and 7:00 pm. A community meal will be served during the 5:00 pm break.

Admission for the event will be:

College students (Concordia, MState, MSUM, NDSU, NDSCS)  FREE with student ID
