Spring Event Requests
For those groups who are considering holding events in the spring semester, we would like you to be mindful of the following current guidelines:
As always, be familiar with the following, as they will help you understand some of the protocols which must be followed in order to have an in-person gathering:
At this time, we will continue to follow the existing event procedures including:
- Physical Distancing, masking, tracking attendance, and checking “green screen” of each person in attendance.
In addition, the following are now true:
- We strongly suggest you consider moving your event virtual (ie: Zoom or Teams)
- In person events may only include organization members and MSUM students and members of the campus community (students, faculty, and staff). Those not affiliated with the campus community (Family, friends, performers, speakers, etc.) are not allowed.
- Consider postponing or cancelling where feasible.
- Intramurals, club sports and recreational sports will not be allowed.
- Regular student organization meetings can still happen if you would like, please reach out to an Event Scheduler on campus to confirm.
