MSUM 3rd Annual Speak Up Event
If the year 2020 has taught us anything, it is that everyone has a story to tell, and that we can all learn from each other. And that is why, in February 2021, MSUM will be hosting the 3rd Annual Speak Up Event, a TED-style event that will feature 8 speakers sharing 10-minute talks.
Speak Up was created in 2019 by MSUM students who wanted to create a platform for sharing ideas and experiences with the rest of campus and the community. Today, more than ever, students need to hear and share those unique or common experiences.
The 2021 theme is Forge. Forge has a more general sense of making or creating something. But it can also be interpreted as moving forward or to progress and advance, within any given situation, in spite of some difficulty, hardship, or obstacle.
We need your help to nominate speakers! Do you know a student, staff, faculty or community member who could give a terrific talk related to “Forge?” Nominate them by December 1 using this form!
Or maybe YOU have an idea to share? Complete our short speaker application on DragonCentral. Applications are now open until December 4.
