Welcome to the #DragonFamily: Sean Brandenburg
Meet MSUM youth outreach coordinator Sean Brandenburg. He is excited to bring kids K-12 to campus and show them what MSUM has to offer!
Start date: February 1, 2020
Q: What drew you to MSUM?
A: I am originally from Fargo-Moorhead but I was out in Billings, Montana for the last five years. I had a friend get a position at MSUM and he talked about how it’s a vibrant, diverse environment. He showed me the job description and I had been looking at coming home so the position really fit. I was excited to come back to the area again.
Q: What unique experience or skills do you bring to MSUM?
A: It’s been a long time since I’ve been on a college campus. The university does a lot of great things in the community and it’s been really rewarding so far.
Q: If you could only use three apps on your phone what would they be?
A: The Wyze app would be number one. I have a dog at home, and I like to check on my dog a lot and that is like a little camera. I do still use Snapchat. My friends in the city say Snapchat’s not cool anymore but I still like to use it. The last one would probably be Twitter. I don’t tweet a lot, but I like it as a way to get news.
Q: What’s your most-used emoji?
A: I like the monkey with his hands covering his eyes. I use that one a lot.
Q: If you could go anywhere in the world, where would it be and why?
A: I would go to Argentina and Patagonia area. Somewhere at the bottom of the world. You can go either way. You could go to the beach or a glacier.
Welcome to the #DragonFamily, Sean!
