Smart Connections – Helping International Students Prepare for the Future

The Career Development Center and International Student Services present Smart Connections – Helping International Students Prepare for the Future. This event is geared towards MSUM international students who are looking to gain a better understanding of what it takes to find internship and employment opportunities post-graduation. The event will consist of the following sessions:
Employment Panel – Hear from alums who chose to stay stateside and human resources representatives on the steps necessary to gain employment as an international student.
Job Search Intensive – Do you have what it takes to get noticed by employers? The Career Development Center will present on resume & cover letter best practices and tips and tricks for a successful interview.
Optional Practical Training – Find out everything you need to know about Optional Practical Training including paperwork, aligning your job duties to your major coursework, and what questions to ask employers.
