Kevin Laluyan receives $5,000 Affinity Plus Foundation scholarship
Affinity Plus Federal Credit Union member Kevin Laluyan’s jaw literally dropped when he came in to our MSUM campus branch last Friday and we shared the news with him that he was a winner of one of our $5,000 Annual Foundation Scholarship!
Kevin will be a Graduate Student at MSUM next fall seeking his Master’s degree in Finance and Accounting!
From Kevin’s scholarship essay:
“I have maintained a good GPA throughout college while working full time to support my education. However, one day I realized that it is not just about grades. Community service has always been a big part of my life, and this sharpens other skills necessary in any career path such as communication, teamwork, problem-solving, and resilience. My experiences have led me to develop a strong work ethic, time management skills, and a sense of community.”
