Curt Gudmundson Economics Undergraduate Student Colloquium

Wednesday, May 1 | 3:30-4:30 p.m. | CB 105

You are invited to our first Curt Gudmundson Economics Undergraduate Student Colloquium on May 1 at 3:30 p.m. in the Center for Business 105. Streaming will be available as well.

Students Adam Schutt and Rebecca Weir will present the results of their research. Adam studies whether, controlling for other variables, crimes rates are higher in Sanctuary Cities while Rebecca studies possible factors explaining the significant decrease in the annual per capita consumption of milk in the US.

Adam and Rebecca presented the results of their research at the Eastern Economic Association meetings in New York City this past March. The Economics Program would like to thank Economics Alum Curt Gudmundson for financing Adam and Rebecca’s trip.
