Cultural Competence Certification Program

Repeat of our Initial “Defining Diversity” Workshop Session: Thursday, Jan. 31 or Friday, Feb. 1.

The Cultural Competence Certification Program is a professional development opportunity open to faculty, staff and administrators, that aims to help participants develop individual knowledge and skills in multicultural education. The program consists of nine modules — each module will be offered multiple times to help accommodate schedules. There will be a new module offered each month from September through April.

For those who were not able to participate last September, we will be repeating our initial session: “Why Diversity, Why Inclusion? Why Now?” led by Jered Pigeon, the MSUM Director of Diversity and Inclusion, on Thursday, Jan. 31 and Friday, Feb. 1 in King Hall Room 110 from 3-4 p.m.

The exact dates, times, and location of the remaining Spring sessions will be released in the near future.

If you are interested in participating or if you would like more information, please email facdev@mnstate.edu.
