Sunday, Jan. 27 | 11 a.m. | Unitarian Universalist Church (121 9th St S, Fargo)

Women’s Center Coordinator Dana Bisignani was recently invited to speak at the Unitarian Universalist Church during their service on Sunday, January 27. Dana’s talk is titled “Beyond the Master’s Tools: Revolutionary Imagination and the Dreamer Within” and explores how we access the revolutionary imagination we need to build hope in our communities, even when we may feel great anger.

Black feminist scholar Audre Lorde famously wrote, “The master’s tools will never dismantle the master’s house.” What, then, are the tools that create real change? How do we harness fire to build space for radical dreaming and forge new tools?

The UU Church is located at 121 9th Street South in Fargo. The service begins at 11 a.m. All are welcome.
