Stutes presents to area high school teachers

Dr. Gregory Stutes, Department of Economics, Law, & Politics and Center for Economic Education, held a workshop for area high school teachers on our campus October 28, 2018. Stutes presented and provided lesson plans on “understanding Fiscal Responsibility.” Lessons included topics such as balancing the federal budget, social security, and Medicare. The Center for Economic Education provides expert guidance on economic events to the community. In particular, the Center provides assistance and lesson plans to area high school teachers to improve the quality of their classroom experience. Annually, the Center hosts Economic Challenges for area high school students.
