Nobuntu, a female vocal quintet from Zimbabwe, sings this Saturday, Oct. 20, at 7:30 p.m. on the Gaede Stage in the Roland Dille Center for the Arts. The group has drawn international acclaim for inventive performances of music that includes traditional Zimbabwean songs, Afro jazz and gospel. Nobuntu will also lead free workshops at 1 p.m. for high school and college age students and adult community members. An African singing workshop is in the Choir Room (Room 148) and an African dance workshop is in the Green Room next to the Hansen Theatre.
