MSUM Honor’s Apprentice students’ faculty-mentored research was presented at the National American Speech Language Hearing Association (ASHA) convention Nov. 10 in Los Angeles.

Alexandra Heisler and Rebecca Paul presented a research poster at ASHA for a study mentored by Dr. Mary Drake and Dr. Nancy Paul, SLHS department. Anna Koeppe also participated in this Honor’s Apprentice research but was not able to attend the conference. The research involved Experiences of College Students with Hearing Loss: Qualitative Interviews. Estimated attendance at the competitive submission conference was 15,000 professionals and students.
