Arin Wuraloa to join Office of Undergraduate Admissions as admissions representative
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is excited to announce that Arin Wuraloa has been appointed to the role of Admissions Representative. Arin will manage the recruitment territory of northeast Minnesota. During her interview, Arin expressed a passion for higher education, connecting with prospective students, and cultivating relationships with the campus community as well as the guidance counselors and educators in her assigned territory. She earned her Bachelor’s Degree in linguistics at the University of Ilorin in Nigeria, Master’s Degrees in both international affairs and cultural studies in education from Ohio University, and is in progress to earn her Doctorate in teaching and learning from the University of North Dakota. She is currently working as a Direct Support Professional for Developmental Home Inc. in Grand Forks. Her previous experience consists of many years in a variety of roles in higher education. These roles include a diversity coordinator and advisor at Northland Community and Technical College, a resident tutor advisor at UND, an administrative assistant at Ohio University, and a graduate research and teaching assistant at UND. She has also volunteered at local high schools to provide mentorship to ELL students.
