Campus Budget Discussion

Faculty and staff are invited to a budget discussion at 3 p.m. on Wednesday, September 13 in the Comstock Memorial Union Ballroom led by President Blackhurst. The meeting will be to share information on the FY18 and FY19 budget plans, and review how the university’s new two-year budgeting process is using our Strategic Framework and the Academic Master Plan to shape budget priorities.
While the university’s budget is planned to be balanced by FY19, some key budget elements are still unclear, in particular final 30-day enrollment numbers and labor union contract settlements.
Due to the meeting, Wednesday’s student and faculty/staff open office hours with President Blackhurst will be rescheduled. The faculty/staff open office hours will be from 8:30-10 a.m. on September 28. The student open office hours will be announced at a future date.
Offices may close at the supervisor’s discretion to facilitate attendance at the meeting.
