We are saddened to report that the death of MSUM student Fanuel Shewarega Asrat was recently confirmed. Fanuel died Thursday, June 29 after swimming with friends in the Red River. Kenneth Smemo, a long-serving faculty member at Minnesota State University Moorhead, passed away June 29 at age 86. Please keep Ken’s family and friends in your thoughts during this difficult time.
