The Center for Mindful Healing will be opening in Moorhead June 1. To start, the center will offer self-compassion workshops, mindfulness meditation and corporate wellness.
Gary Haugo Named Vice President for University Advancement
Minnesota State University Moorhead President Anne Blackhurst has named Gary Haugo as Vice President for University Advancement. In this position, Haugo will provide executive leadership for a newly restructured division responsible for external relations activities including fundraising, alumni relations, marketing and communications.
Spring Scholarship Gala surpasses years prior in attendance and money raised
Last Saturday, April 23, 2016, the university’s largest, annual fundraising event for need-based, merit, academic and athletic scholarships was held and saw a record-breaking 343 in attendance. The event raised over $167,000.
Dragon Welcome Week Involvement Opportunities
Dragon Welcome Week will be held this year from Thursday, August 18 through Sunday, August 21! Involvement opportunities are available during the week, including Sidewalk Cafe on Saturday, August 20 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. for all Student Organizations and Campus Departments.
