Plankers to Present with Telehealth Sept. 19

MariBeth Plankers, M.S., CCC-SLP, a clinical supervisor in the Speech Language Hearing Sciences department, will be presenting with the Telehealth organization in North Dakota on Sept. 19 at 3 p.m.

Telepractice is the application of telecommunications technology used to deliver speech language professional services at a distance by linking the clinician to student/client for assessment, intervention, and/or consultation (ASHA Practice Portal). MSUM is in their fourth year of telepractice services.

Participants of this webinar will learn about the procedures used involving multiple means of engagement with language and action, put to practice by graduate student clinicians at Minnesota State University Moorhead’s Speech Language & Hearing Clinic.
