Redesigned website to launch July 28

The following information was shared at Wednesday’s town hall presentation on the web redesign project. The first phase of the redesign effort includes the homepage, undergraduate and graduate admissions pages. Work teams have focused on developing the site to be responsive on desktop and mobile devices and enrollment focused for prospective students. These pages will launch July 28, in time to support the fall recruiting season.

The second phase will focus on the revision of academic pages to create a more useful and expanded academic presence for all majors. New work groups, including representatives from academic units, will be formed late summer/early fall.

After launch of the first phase July 28, faculty, staff and current students will be directed to “myMSUM” to access the Current Students and Faculty/Staff pages. A login will not be required at this time; however, as the redesign progresses, an internal portal structure requiring a login will be developed.
