Community Thanksgiving Dinner at St. Joseph’s Church
Not going home for the holidays? Join us for our annual home-cooked community Thanksgiving Dinner on Thanksgiving Day. St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and Trinity Lutheran Church are hosting the free meal at St. Joseph’s Church (218 10th Street South, Moorhead) from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. on Thanksgiving.
This traditional turkey dinner is being offered to all those who would be alone on that day. This might include, senior citizens, homeless, those with no family nearby (or no family at all), and anyone else desiring social fellowship. If you need a ride, you can call for a ride. If you are unable to come, call and we will make a delivery. A limited number of to-go meals are available for those who cannot make it to St. Joseph’s, limit 5 per family. Any leftovers will be available at 1:30 p.m.
Reservations for rides or meal delivery will be taken beginning Monday, November 16th through Tuesday, November 24th by calling St. Joseph’s (236-5066) or Trinity (236-1333).
