Kandace Creel Falcón one of 20 participants in the Women’s Media Center Progressive Women’s Voices Class of 2015
Kandace Creel Falcón, Director of Women’s Studies was accepted into the class of 20 participants of the Women’s Media Center Progressive Women’s Voices Class of 2015.
“The WMC Progressive Women’s Voices is the premiere media and leadership training program serving women in our country. The 20 women will be training in Washington, DC in July.” Dr. Kandace Creel Falcón “will join the nearly 200 women who have been a part of WMC Progressive Women’s Voices media training.”
The training serves to highlight diverse women as experts for mainstream media to increase diverse women’s representation in mainstream media sources. Dr. Creel Falcón was the only participant selected from the Midwest.
