Roberta “Bobbie” Delaney Named Assistant Director of Student Employment and Outreach

I am pleased to announce that Roberta “Bobbie” Delaney has been appointed as our new Assistant Director of Student Employment and Outreach in the Career Development Center at Minnesota State University Moorhead, effective January 5, 2015.

In this role, Bobbie will bring extensive knowledge and expertise to the team that includes student career exploration and skill assessment, job search and interview techniques, potential employer cultivation, and social media presence and management. She currently serves as Career Exploration Coordinator at Minnesota State University Moorhead and previously served as Area Director in Housing and Residential Life. Prior to joining MSUM she held several roles at Missouri Western State University that included First Year Programs Director, Acting Assistant Director of Residence Life, and Residence Hall Director.

Bobbie passionately embraces the opportunity to “help students explore their passion and help them translate it into skills they can use in the future”. I am confident that Bobbie will continue in her enthusiasm to collaborate with campus constituents to enhance student career exploration experiences. So please join me in congratulating Bobbie in her new leadership role at MSUM.

Also, join me in thanking the members of the search committee, chaired by Diane Wolter, for their excellent work.
