Recycle bins and boxes galore: Pick them up from OCS
Due to the recent arrival of new recycling bins, the Office of Campus Sustainability has a plethora of recycling bins available. Two different types are available, and pictures can be seen at the OCS Facebook Page.
Need a box for that holiday gift? MSUM recycles several tons of cardboard boxes each year. Feel free to check the cardboard dumpster near you, odds are good that you’ll find the perfect box to reuse. If you don’t know where the nearest dumpster is, email the Office of Campus Sustainability at OCS@mnstate.edu.
Tip of the day: closing the window blinds in your office (or at home) is an easy way to add a thin thermal barrier between you and the Minnesota winter. Studies in the office show a 10 degree change in surface temp at the windows with the blinds shut!
