Economists’ paper presented at Missouri Valley Economic Association Conference

Oscar Flores, Economics, Law & Politics, presented a paper on the retention of freshman students at public, regional universities at the 51st annual meeting of the Missouri Valley Economic Association in St. Louis, MO in October 2014. “The Impact of Local Economic Conditions on the Retention of College Freshman Across Regional, Public Universities,” coauthored by ELP faculty member T. J. Hansen, identifies student, institutional, and economic factors that may explain differences in retention rates across universities.
