Reminder: Registration is now open for the Minnesota Desire2Learn Ignite Regional User Conference 2014, to be held Friday, April 4 from 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Sponsored by Desire2Learn and held at the Minneapolis Airport Marriott, in Minneapolis, this user conference is open to all Minnesota State Colleges and Universities faculty and staff and K-12 educators. Users from other states are also welcome. The conference will showcase many aspects of teaching and learning with technology, but especially focuses on Desire2Learn (D2L), a learning management system and The Quality Matters Program™, a peer review process that supports the design of quality online and blended courses.

Go to the Desire2Learn Ignite Regional User Conference site to register.

Check the website for a schedule of presentations and learn about the new Minnesota Ignite Awards 2014. Nominations for the Minnesota Ignite Awards are due March 14.

Catherine Artac and Jane Melander from Instructional Technology Services will be representing MSU Moorhead. They are co-presenting two sessions at the conference: “Making Baby Steps on the Road to Accessibility” and “Avoiding Group Confusion & Catastrophe: Using self-enrollment groups and release conditions to customize student projects and field trips.”

Hope to see you there.
