Advertising Club will have its first meeting this semester
Thursday, Jan. 23 at 12:30 p.m. in the Mass Comm Lounge in MacLean 262 Members who are unable to make the meeting time are still invited to all other Ad Club events!
MSUM Ad Club is affiliated with the American Advertising Federation of North Dakota. Ad Club’s goal is to help students gain experience, network with professionals and create lasting friendships. We work really hard at connecting students with the professional industry of advertising, marketing, graphic design and PR. In addition to the weekly meetings we have at 12:30pm on Thursdays, we also have optional once-a-month professional speakers which are generally on the third Tuesday of every month from 11:30pm-1:00pm. At these speaker meetings, we attend a luncheon with representatives from every ad agency in the F-M area as well as marketing teams from local businesses while we hear different marketing ideas from designers flown in from around the U.S.! Many of our members have actually gotten internships from their connections that they made at Ad Club!
Ad Club also gets to attend many of the student-related events that the American Advertising Federation puts on to get students more experience in the industry! We attend around 6 of these events each year.
