Women’s and Gender Studies faculty and students presented documentary at the Minnesota Network of Latina/os in Higher Education
Kandace Creel Falcón, Women’s and Gender Studies, and Beatriz Castro, Women’s and Gender Studies minor, and President of O.L.A. student group, presented their short documentary research project “Latina/o Voices: Highlighting our Successes at MSUM” at the Minnesota Network of Latina/os in Higher Education 6th Annual Summit Saturday, Oct. 6.Three additional O.L.A. members – Yastín Beltran, Christine LaCoursiere, and Kathryn Lucero, also attended the summit where they networked with other Latina/o student organizations from St. Cloud State University and University of Minnesota Morris.
