Early Education Center celebrates 40 years

Community open house, activities & storytelling Nov. 12

The MSUM Early Education Center is holding an open house to celebrate its 40th anniversary Saturday, Nov. 12 from 10 a.m. to noon in the Early Education Center located in Lommen Hall (rooms 76, 78, 80 & 82 ) 1213 6th Ave. S., Moorhead.

Featured activities include storytelling by Michael Gallo, a Scholastic bookfair and family events in each classroom.

The open house is to celebrate the Center’s 40th anniversary, reunite alumni and teachers of the Center and introduce new families to the remodeled facility and 12-month calendar the Early Education Center now follows.

The Early Education Center has provided quality Early Childhood Care to the MSUM campus and community for the last 40 years. Our head teachers are all licensed early childhood educators who develop their curriculum based on the child’s needs, developmentally appropriate practices, and learning through play.

The Center has been accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children since June 2008.
